The landscape design process at Custom Landscapes by Design begins with a quote request from a customer, followed by scheduling an initial consultation. Prior to visiting the property, we request a plot plan, which we then trace onto grid paper using landscape design software. During the consultation at the client’s home, we take notes on their specific needs, discuss our ideas, and record any existing landscaping features and elevation changes on the plot plan. After the consultation, we return to our office to create a detailed design and prepare a quote for the project. We then schedule a presentation with the client to discuss the design options and project costs. If the client is satisfied and agrees to proceed, we formalize the agreement with a contract, prepare an HOA packet if required, and schedule the project for installation. Each client’s project is installed in the order in which their contract was signed, ensuring a fair and organized process from start to finish.
